I’d like to share my experience working with Ostmo Construction on my project in 2023/2024. We had previously engaged with two other builders but were unable to get our project off the ground for various reasons. After many setbacks, we were close to giving up and even considered selling the property. That’s when I reached out to Erik, who is a friend, to see if he might be able to help. I’m so glad I did.

The final product was nothing short of amazing. From the very start, the team at Ostmo was transparent, communicative, and highly responsive. The project was completed right on schedule—exactly as the team had promised 11 months earlier. What really stood out to me was the constant communication throughout. Whether by email, phone, or text, I never had to wait more than a few minutes to hear back from anyone. The level of responsiveness was truly impressive.

A client we worked with brought on Ostmo Construction for a whole house remodel. Ostmo’s attention to detail & their ability to follow our construction documents made the construction process extremely smooth for us as the designers. They were able to stick to a tight timeline, even with several change orders thrown their way. Throughout the remodel their team was able to problem solve in such a professional manner. Erik is by far one of the most professional contractors I had the pleasure of working with throughout several remodels in my home. Erik is intelligent, organized and direct while also being thoughtful and thorough. He has high standards for himself, his team and the work completed. He will not produce anything less than exceptional. What stood out the most to me about Erik was the fact that while maintaining a high level of professionalism and drive, he was also extremely charismatic and a joy to work with. Despite one or two additions on my end, our projects (which included a kitchen and laundry remodel, three bathrooms and a 600-foot addition) were completed in a timely matter. After every remodel completion, we were thrilled with the final product. I would highly recommend Erik for any opportunity!

Before my husband and I knew Erik professionally, we knew him personally.  Once we decided to remodel our home, we knew Erik would be our #1 guy.  Personally and professionally, he is honest, patient and dependable.  He settles for nothing but the highest quality at the most reasonable price.  We’ve never remodeled a home before and felt anxious at first because of the horror stories we had heard from friends who used other builders in their remodeling projects.  Erik proved all of that to be wrong and it turned out to be a fun and fulfilling experience.  After being in the industry for as long as he has, he’s formed relationships with his subs who bend over backwards to work for him. They are all professional, creative, considerate, trustworthy and do an outstanding job.  You know someone is good when Erik’s past customers use him over and over again for all of their remodeling jobs.

We wanted an addition to our house so we could age in place and live on one level in our current 3 story home. It included a bedroom, a large bath, walk in closet and a laundry room on the main level. There were a lot of details and construction challenges along the way.

Pim and Jane managed our project. They were attentive, knowledgable and monitored the progress closely. They did everything we wanted, on time and on budget, even saving us money here and there. Their subcontractors were very professional, impressively skilled and had to solve some very difficult design and material issues.

Our experience with Ostmo Construction exceeded our expectations for a general contractor in every way and we can’t recommend them highly enough.
